The article below points out statistics that show how the working class since 2000 has suffered a net LOSS of income. And, the supposed economic recovery has not benefitted the working class, just the investment class. The article mentions the Republican tax cuts, but does not really make the case for how the tax cuts have hurt the working class. I’d like to find a good article explaining how the huge deficits caused by the tax cuts affect the common working people. I suspect that the higher interest rates (and higher prices and lower investment returns) caused by deficit spending reduce the net amount of after-tax dollars available to the average lower-middle class working person (but I can’t prove it).
