Missouri’s Claire McCaskill (D) just might unseat Senator Jim Talent (R)See the latest Rasmussen poll here: Rasmussen reports show Claire McCaskill roughly tied with incumbent Jim Talent already As the 2006 election cycle heats up I’ll be taking note of Claire McCaskill’s effort to unseat Republican Senator Jim Talent. From things I’ve read, it looks like the GOP recognizes that Talent is in for a challenging re-election bid. It’ll be interesting to see what priority the national GOP places on the Talent re-election bid. Will they give him enough help? Or will they decide to severely ration the help, because there are similar fires burning all over the country? Check out Claire McCaskill’s website. Being a Dem, I support McCaskill.
