Take the QUIZ and see if you can identity whether a list of vile hateful rantings were uttered by Ann Coulter or by Adolph HitlerHere’s the quiz. I scored 11, which is pretty good. Yes, some of the things Ann Coulter said I wrongly attributed to Hitler (!!!). UPDATE: The link to the original Quiz stopped working. The Quiz author tweaked the Quiz’s questions. Here’s the new quiz link. CAVEAT: The rantings that make up the quiz are not footnoted, and so we cannot independently verify them. For purposes of fun, assume that the quotes are correct. But if you find out that the quoted passages are not genuine, please drop me a line or post a Comment here. If the quoted passages are accurate, the similarity in viciousness between the two is unnerving. Just as Hitler’s lunatic hateful ravings swayed the millions of Germany (in the early days), Coulter’s lunatic ravings enjoy broad support in the USA today. Humans are drawn to powerful-seeming leaders. Evil speech seems powerful when there is no punishment for it. Coulter’s evil speech is rewarded by wealth and celebrity. Powerful people befriend her. Therefore, she becomes powerful and influential. Yet, her words are evil. Americans can support evil people, similar to how Hitler persuaded Germans to support him. We aren’t immune, we’re not special - we’re just fallible humans.
